She said advertising and marketing help is available for all certified staged homes.

She also provides help with decluttering homes "whether the clients are downsizing, relocating or just wish to live in a less cluttered home."

How did you get into your business, or what motivated you to start it?:"I have studied and practiced feng shui since 2000. As I was ending my elementary teaching career and planning for a second career I discovered the perfect match of feng shui and home staging.

"I realized the power of home staging and its impact on the real estate market. After earning my accredited staging professional (ASP) designation and many hands-on experiences, I knew it was the service that would bring about a positive change in anyone's home."

Previous business experience: She has staged homes, both for owners wishing to sell and for occupants; was the owner of Feng Shui Serenity LLC; and was a feng shui consultant and instructor. She also was involved in property investment and property renovation and was a school teacher for 30 years.
